Relational Urbanism

MASS DISTRIBUTION

This exercise was featured as a collaboration with Arup Urban Design, where the overall massing of a 1,200 dwelling development needed to be coordinated across the site. The work featured a massing strategy which would distribute a series of block catalogue (open to closed locks) across the grid.

 

LINKING TRAFFIC MODELS

The relational model for this project allows a control of the building massing with a series of interactive field slide bars. The user ca distribute heights knowing I real time the overall quantum of development, as well as distribution of AM traffic along the main roads of the development.
