DATABASE COORDINATION

This exercise is focused in exploring how different inputs an be coordinated / understood in the masterplanning process. An interface as generated so that masking operations would be coordinated with cost analysis and traffic model in one single interface.

 

RELATIONAL MODEL

In this case, the relational model works I one single layer, however different percentages of land use can be attached to every single cell, producing a complex pattern of mixed use across the fabric. The model also produced a series data which could be controlled in real time:

· Cloud base control of massing

· Traffic IN / OUT, AM /PM generated by the development along the 7 main access roads to the development. Calculation applied for private vehicles, as well as public transport. The model is also programmed to recall reaching thresholds in functionality.

· Cost analysis based on land use distribution

· Basic cash flow analysis over 50 years of the development based on land use at current prices.
